love your astro takes, wish you a beautiful weekend! Do you think astro can help to improve skin texture and haircare, maybe not overnight but with a customised routine over time strengthening the related planets (i.e., Mercury for skin, Venus or maybe Moon for overall attractiveness)? Like a beauty routine that focuses on individual wellness irrespective of the market accepted Euro-centric standard of beauty based on astro placements.

This is actually an interest of mine, and yes! Astrology can definitely help to improve your overall looks, or give you control over your physical features in a subtle but significant way. However, there’s a lot of issues with this. Beauty standards is a huge part of that issue. Another is that different planets rule different facets of beauty, and strengthing moon, for example, might lead you to gaining weight, or strengthening saturn can make you skinny, but it’ll make your face look horrible.
If you’re okay with either of these side effects, it STILL won’t be fine, because then you’ll have to deal with the material and physical consequences of strengthening or weakening a planet deliberately. For example, strengthening moon can make you more emotional, or strengthening mars can make you more disliked, if more athletic.
All that said, it’s actually a very fun experiment to do, and I’d highly recommend it, especially if you have no attachment to how you look or want to look.
what placements can give face dysmorphia?

I would say ketu with mars, ketu in first, ketu in aries, or ketu with moon. This isn’t to diagnose anybody, but ketu essentially gives a disconnection with the physical form, but it won’t be distressed. Rahu in these positions can give an obsession with the face, and fixing minor imperfections.
