why are some religious people who pray all the time and do all the rituals, even priests, still discriminatory towards marginalized people and like very judgmental? i’m refraining from saying bad people but. why does god not give them the healing power or energy or like the knowledge to not be like that? why are they still stuck in their ways?

We’re all on Earth to do different things, we’re all on earth with different types of karma.
That said… There are many different ways that religion can impact us, and while personal development is a great thing that religion offers, it isn’t the only one. Social power, and superiority is something else that religion offers, and for many, it’s the reason that they follow religion.
